Nightmare Lord

My entry for ArtWar2.

'The Nightmare Lord is a powerful creature who appears in people dreams and transforms them into their most dreaded nightmares. Even tho he's faceless he can shapeswift, taking the form of whatever it is his victim fears the most. In adittion, his powers allow him to summon monstrous nightmare bats out of his own etherial body'.

Even tho he represents darkness, i wanted to capture an etherial/dream-like quality with this design. In a way i wanted him to look like a children's story supervillain. This was certainly super fun to do.
